The Sadkhin Complex® was founded in 1989 when the founder and owner, Dr. Grigory D. Sadkhin emigrated to the United States bringing with him his unique approach to weight loss through hunger control. Having received his medical degree from Odessa N.I. Pirogov Medical Institute, he began working with cardiac patients who were obese. In the course of his study, Dr. Sadkhin utilized his acupuncture training to find eight biologically active points behind each ear that could control hunger. This allowed his patients to follow a very restricted diet and lose weight rapidly and safely. When the test results were in, he realized that he had discovered a natural cure for hunger. Using a Japanese technique of stimulating biologically active points with steel balls instead of needles, and a nutritional program modeled on those of longliving populations, he created The Sadkhin Complex®.
Dr. Sadkhin opened a practice in New York, where word quickly spread about the unusual technique practiced by a little-known Russian doctor. Soon, the results began speaking for themselves. Residents of Brooklyn were losing hundreds of pounds quickly and easily and keeping the weight off. With every client that Dr. Sadkhin saw, dozens followed in tow, eager to replicate the rapid results of their friends and co-workers. In a few years the practice outgrew its first location and was moved so that colon-hydrotherapy, massage therapy and an administrative center could be added.
In the last three years, three additional locations were added in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Philadelphia and Detroit. In each of these cities, the reactions have been the same. The introduction of an approach to weight loss that worked, and that worked fast, took each city by storm. The Sadkhin Complex® has enjoyed tremendous growth and continues to bring its philosophy and drug-free weight loss methods to people all over the United States and abroad. With obesity becoming a worldwide epidemic, the need has never been greater to find a solution. The company continues to educate people about the risks of obesity and about the possibility of losing weight quickly and safely without the need for surgery or dangerous pills.
