10 TIPS TO LIVE LONGER

  1. Donate Blood - Recommended at least once per year, a blood donation is a great way to rejuvenate blood cells and stimulate the circulatory system and organs. Aside from the social benefits the new blood cells produced by your body aid longevity.
  2. Practice a Healthy Sex Life - This enjoyable exercise is a great way to relieve stress as well as to positively affect our nervous, endocrine and reproductive systems. This is another way to increase longevity and longlivers traditionally maintain an active and fulfilling sex life. Don't overdo it though!
  3. Have a Glass of Wine- When consumed in moderation and if already part of your lifestyle, a glass of red wine per day is reputed to have beneficial effects on cholesterol levels and is a contributing factor to increased longevity in many cultures. In fact some cultures use wine specifically for its medicinal value. Avoid sugary or mixed drinks.
  4. Slow Down your Metabolism - We cannot escape old age, but we can prolong youth. Unlike many, The Sadkhin Complex® believes that if you slow down your metabolism rather than speed it up, you will increase your life span. Slowing down the metabolism keeps aging at bay, evidenced in recent studies on animals that showed a slower metabolism doubled their life spans.
  5. Eat in Threes - Limiting food choices to three items, preferably raw fruits and vegetables, will help to stimulate the digestive system and improve absorption while promoting proper organ function. This will also allow your body to digest food in a way that can stimulate our internal pharmacy to synthesize nutrients for their medicinal value.
  6. Change your Sleeping Pattern - Alter the hours that you sleep to coincide with the changing seasons and the effects will be amazing. Take your lead from the birds. Go to bed later and wake later during the winter because our 24-hour or circadian rhythm shifts with the later dawn. With daylight occurring later, people who wake early experience a discrepancy in circadian rhythms, which are dependent upon light. Shift sleeping habits again during the summer to coincide with early morning light by rising early and keeping an earlier bedtime.
  7. Exercise Twice a Day - Do hard aerobic and lifting (dynamic) exercise early in the day when the metabolic rate is much higher. After 6 PM, when the body's temperature begins to drop and prepare for rest, engage in more leisurely (static) activity such as walking or yoga etc. You will feel a dramatic increase in overall energy levels, eliminate lethargy and enhance your immune system.
  8. Clean your Colon - Engage in a colon hydrotherapy session at least once per year or better yet, once per season. Cleansing the colon helps to keep the digestive system stimulated and will aid in the body's ability to rid it of toxins. Expect to lose about 3 lbs. after a session.
  9. Breathe Twice Daily - Breathing exercises can properly ensure oxidation and slow down the aging process. Breathing in happens reflexively but the depth of breathing out should be regulated so that there is no air left from the previous intake. Breathing exercises should not be done more than twice a day, morning and evening.
  10. Eat Seasonally -The body functions differently during different seasons of the year. Eat foods that are consistent with your body's seasonal rhythms. This will keeps body healthy year-round and maximizes organ synergy. Try to eat foods that are indigenous to your region.
